Description: English Porcelain c1800 Floral Bute Cup Spode Type Handle New Hall Restored MAKER: English circa 1800-1815 based upon cup & Spode type handle shape (Berthoud, 1990). Possibly Spode or New Hall. MATERIAL: Hand Painted Porcelain PIECE NAME: Cup CUP DIMENSIONS: 2 1/4" tall and 3 1/8" across CONDITION: Piece had a hairline running vertically adjacent to the handle restored at some point. Some sort of lacquer or clear coat has bubbled up in the base of the cup (photo 4). Hairline repair also visible in photos 5 & 6. Please review all images and contact me with any questions.
