Description: E.N. WELCH Octagon Short Drop Rosewood Regulator Wall Clock - 1890 Welch clock is marked in two places: on the case label and movement. Beautiful rosewood & mahogany clock case with some veneer loss and repair plus some age cracking (see pics), Welch stamped 8 day time and strike movement, original dial has been re-painted at some time but has good numbering, original hands and pendulum bob with newer winding key, both upper & lower glasses look original with lower glass design and colors still in very good condition, lower door has had a repair in the past, upper glass has scratches & imperfections but still good, brass bezel is nice with some added putty to original putty, original backboard label is very nice 99% there.
