This was removed from a Genuine Aerus Electrolux central vacuum system. It is used the seal & insulate the motor inside the central vacuum power unit. It prevents metal to metal contact between the motor-base and vacuum canister-body. It also provides an air-tight seal between the two. This gasket is manufacturer from a high-quality foam/rubber that is quite firm. It measures 4”outside diameter, 2” inside diameter is 1" thick; all measurements are approximate. Gasket is smooth on both sides. Multiple gaskets may be stacked to achieve the desired thickness... This is used on many different manufacturers power units.
