Description: This is a very charming vintage 'dime store variety' art print of Edgar Degas "Women with Chrysanthemums". Degas, according to the history on the back, painted the original in 1865. Also, on the back with the history of Degas and the story of this print, is a retail sticker, partially torn. It looks like the sticker is a "K-Mart" sticker and the original price would have been cents rather than dollars. The plastic ornate frame with print is 6 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" wide. The frame is stamped 'made in u.s.' and a number/letter of "G94H"The marked 'hanger hole' is, interestingly enough - on the bottom of the frame! :) A charming print of a beautiful Degas art.
