Description: Early Spanish Colonial wooden stirrup, with intricate incised carvings, grooves on sides and bottom where metal strap would have fit (one stirrup only). Measures 7 inches front to back, 5 1/2 inch height. Shows great wear and patina, age cracks consistent with its age and use (see pictures).
