Nope not the George Bush that we are more familiar with. George Bush was more noted as a clock maker but did make some silverware. He worked as a silversmith and clockmaker from 1812-1837. Good condition for its age (at least 185 years old). There is a bit of wear and some minor dings. The handle feels like it was bent at one point and was bent back. You can feel a raised spot when you run your fingers over the handle. Logo on the back is not fully readable do to a light stamp but says "G BUSH" and "STANDARD". Ornate monogram - I think it is an "NA" but I am not good at reading these early ornate monograms. Weighs in at 13.5 grams. Ships FAST and FREE within the USA via USPS First Class mail.
