Description: ITEM: Early 1987 Pleasant Company White Body Kirsten Doll w/ Factory Braids in Meet Beautiful vintage piece of Pleasant Company history. I had her dated by a collector as an "early 1987" based on her neck stamp & eyes. Factory braided & set hair with original blue ties that look factory tied. Very pretty face coloring that is still vivid. She is a white body with the earlier "salmon" cups at her limbs. Doll is very clean & doesn't look to have been played with. She has those quentessential perky eyes found on the 1987 dolls. She has the shorter curled lashes. All eyelashes look to be there. Eyes blink as they should. See pics for neck markings & wig line. Limbs tight & hold pose - I'm confident she was factory strung. She is dressed in full meet outfit & nearly all meet accessories - Dress, Pantaloons, Apron, Spoon Bag, Wooden Spoon, Hankie Cloth, Stripe Wool Socks, & Brown Boots. Outfit is EXC+ condition & she seems "factory dressed". Dress has a paper 1986 tag. Hankie has the paper 1986 tag. Spoon Bag has the paper "made in china" tag found often w/ 1987 dolls. Socks are the early wool version. Overall - a beautiful doll & an early example of Kirsten! Currently in a smoke-free, cat-free, small dog home. Stand not included.
