EAPG Dice and Block Pressed Glass Fine Cut 8 inch Shallow Bowl Dish Platter

Description: Welcome to Fantastic Finds by Finn Description: Being offered is an Unidentified Dice and Block Pattern 8 inch Pressed Glass Shallow Bowl or Dish. I believe this to be an EAPG fine cut piece but I cannot identify the maker. Almost feels like deep cut but this is pressed glass. This was made to imitate cut glass. Intricate 8 point star design with smaller 8 point stars radiating in a swirl or arches pattern from the center outwards in both directions. Edge features 20 divided sections each with 4 rounded teeth. Base features a raised seat of ¼ inch so it does not rest on the star points of the underside. Great craftsmanship and perfect symmetrical geometry throughout the design. Some small air bubbles can be seen upon close inspection as well as straw marks. Unknown maker and age but I would guess 1880’s. I have been unable to identify the pattern or edge treatment in my research. Very similar in to design pattern layout to Campbell, Jones, & Co. / Bryce Bros. omn #720 aka: Fine Cut circa 1884 and Belmont Glass Works omn #101 aka: Dice and Block circa 1886. Stands not included. Condition: Excellent to very nice condition with two (2) chipped teeth noted and shown in picture #12. Checking the underside and a few small flea bites can be felt but very hard to detect with the eye. Approximate Dimensions: Measures 8 inches in diameter and 1 ¾ inches in height to highest point of edging. Weight is 1 lb. 1 oz. before shipping. Note: USPS is the only carrier that allows shipping to a PO Box. If FedEx Ground/Home Delivery or UPS is specified they will not deliver to a PO Box. Choose FedEx Smartpost if offered.
