Description: Offered for your consideration is a small clear glass oval footed bowl made by the Richards and Hartley Glass Company (1865-1891) in their "Cobb" pattern. This pattern was introduced in the 1870s. The bowl measures 7 inches (17.8 cm) long, 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide, and 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) tall. This footed bowl is in very good used condition with no cracks, noticeable scratches, nor repairs. There is chipping and roughness in places along scalloped rim, see photos. Bowl is used so there may be faint surface scratches, minor wear, or other indications of use. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. The base is slightly bowed. There may be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and other minor imperfections due to the glass making process used at the time. Footed bowl will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
