DUKE the Scottie Dog Boyd Color #2 Salmon Color Glass Scottish Terrier 2002

Description: This pretty pink dog figurine is Boyd Crystal Art Glass's Duke the Scottie Dog. The Duke dogs were introduced in July 2002, and this is the second color made, Salmon, which began production on August 26, 2002. It was a bright sunny day when I took these photos, so the glass looks a little lighter in color than it really is. It's a pretty opaque pink with a hint of cream in some spots. Duke is 2 1/8 inches tall, 2 inches long and 1 3/8 inches wide. The Boyd mark is hidden among the fur by his tail. It had me confused, at first, because it's a B in a diamond with no obvious lines around it. But the Duke figurines weren't made before 2002, which is the 5th 5-year time period. I think that there just wasn't enough room on such a small figurine for the rectangle to be placed around the diamond. This pretty piece has no damage. It weighs 2.5 ounces. This will be shipped by either UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage rate (except for International). Local delivery is always available for free to a mutually agreed upon meeting place.
