Description: Here we have a very nice solid Canada Goose Decoy, I believe by Madison Mitchell, of Havre de Grace Maryland. I'm guessing circa mid 1950's. It is a working decoy; solid wood, with painted eyes. With all original hardware below. The Goose bears a mixture of original and the hunters working re-paint in various areas. The Goose is in very good used condition for the working age, with rust on the steel, rubs and scuffs to paint, with a small crack in the neck, having a patina and look appropriate to its hard working life and age.
