Double Borel Dual Cocktail; Piece Unique; John Landrum Bryant; Steampunk Cool!

Description: For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a really cool "piece unique" in that it is a custom creation from the House of John Landrum Bryant. Basically, John --- ever a visionary, "mad scientist" of jewelry and furniture design fused two Borel Cocktail Time timepieces and then crafted it to the vibrant pink strap and buckle that you see in the pictures. John is of course quite well known in the Upper Eastside New York community and I am delighted to offer this piece unique for sale. Borel is a well known vintage watch brand with a cult following and the mesmerizing Cocktail time watches are a visual delight. Mesmerizing... and let me explain how it is so. The watch does not have a second hand but rather takes on a kind of exploding flower blume visual as a constant seconds / operation reminder. Basically, discs and such turn to creat this continuous flowering of both of the timepieces and then one reads the hours and minutes using the red triangular hands. The stem of the hands is obscured to allow for the full visual effect of the blooming dials. I will try to add a short video so you can see the magic in this eclectic, weird but downright delightful timepiece. Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity. We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces – specifications, provenance, history, etc.. Just ask if you have a question! The condition of this watch is as follows: Pre-owned in very good vintage condition as seen in the photos. Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch are… 1. This watch is medium sized when you take into account that there are two dials fused together. 2. This is a timepiece for a stylish and avant garde person. Wonderful presence for the right man but can work as a striking play for a stylish female as well. I view this as a night out on the town timepiece or maybe one to wear to an art gallery, a punk rock concert or anywhere that Steampunk could come into play. It is fun and again... mesmerizing. 3. With the two exhibition caseback you get a great look at very small manual wind movements. Note that one of the dials has a golden color plating and one is silver. Think of it as an innovative and simple way to keep track of two time zones. Or just sync them (easy to do) just for the fun of it. 4. Both of the dials keep quite accurate time and stay synced (or for instance aligned if you use one as your home time and the other as a second time zone display) very well. 5. This will ship in one of his awesome "Elegance by John Landrum Bryant" box. It has some nice exterior detailing and is a wonderful storage vessel for this really cool timepiece. Incidentally, John or "JLB" is a facinating guy and is the Prince of Monteagudo --- check out his store and get to know this rockstar, "enfant terrible" (in a great way!) designer. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.
