Description: This is a new Gen 6 PORTED 3.8L Whipple supercharger that was installed on a car briefly and was discorver that the front seal was leaking. The supercharger was sent back to Whipple to be repaired and is in like new condition now. Because of timing, a different supercharger was put onto the car, so now this is an extra. WILL ONLY FIT ON HELLCAT HEADS THIS SUPERCHARGER WAS PORTED BY WHIPPLE! This is a service they no longer offer at this time. Porting was a $1500 option when it was available. The kit is MISSING the hoses and fittings that run to the blower itself as they were installed on the car. All other hardware and gaskets are included, as well as installation instructions. These pieces could be purchased from Whipple. Also have a matching 130mm throttle body that can be paired with this kit for an additional fee. Using the same technology that powers the 2021 Dodge Drag Pak, the Gen 6 uses Whipple’s patented dual pass, dual intercooler to achieve twice the amount of charge air cooling than any other supercharger system on the market. Couple that with the new 3x4 rotor combination, and the Whipple makes more power than any other positive displacement supercharger available today. The Gen 6 features billet supercharger rotors, machined right here in the USA at our facility in Fresno, CA. Whipple billet rotors are far superior to the stock cast rotors that fail with overspeed. The Gen 6 rotors are the latest in twin-screw technology, which offer higher efficiency levels over a broader RPM range, cooler air charge temperature and less power consumption than any of the stock 2.4, 2.7 or 3.0 offerings.
