Description: The Patch: This Auction is for 1 WWII Vintage Military District of Washington patch with a white back. This patch is in good condition. It has a very nice white backing. This patch does not glow under the UV light and is guaranteed to be authentic. Military District of Washington patches are very desirable and are getting harder to find. Don't lose out on your opportunity to own this great piece of World War II history. The History: The Military District of Washington was established on May 5th, 1942. The District of Columbia had been defended by four separate commands, and the Military District was created to unify the defenses of the capital under one command. The district was assigned support duties as well as acting as the service command for Washington.Please read my auction requirements. I have changed them based upon feedback and ratings received.
