Mary Blair born OCTOBER 21,1911 - died JULY 26, 1978. She was an American artist,animator and designer. She was prominent in producing art and animation for the Walt Disney Company. Drawing concept art for such films as Alice In Wonderland,Peter Pan, Song Of The South, and Cinderella.She was also a member of the infamous EL GRUPO, which traveled to South America with Walt and Lillian Disney in 1941 and was appointed supervisor for the animation feature film,SALUDOS AMIGOS and THE THREE CABALLEROS. After the completion of PETER PAN Mary Blair resigned from Disney. So what you have here is a very important piece of not only animation history but Disney history.
