DISNEY MAGIC KINGDOM Vintage 1970s Employee/Cast Member Jacket -SMALL- zip front

Description: Own a piece of Florida Disney history! The Magic Kingdom, the first of the Walt Disney World Resort parks in Florida, opened October 1, 1971, and 53+ years later remains the most visited theme park in the world. This jacket is estimated to be from the mid-1970 early years of the Magic Kingdom Park, based on the labels, item condition, and similarity to jackets of that era. It appears to have been worn by a worker or cast member at the park. There is an 8-digit bar code on the left interior of the jacket (the general use of bar codes began in 1974). The size SMALL jacket is sturdy with a zip front, collar, and a button at each cuff. Color is navy. The interior is black quilted thin insulated lining (perfect for Florida winters!). The front pockets are generously deep. There is a pocket on the exterior left upper arm. Shell is 65% polyester/35% cotton and the lining is 45% polyurethane/43% nylon/12% polyester. MADE IN USA Approximate dimensions: chest (measured from arm pit seams across) - 21.5 inches; shoulder seam to cuff - 24.25 inches; top seam to bottom hem - 27.75 inches; bottom hem 21.25 inches across. Condition is used, as shown in the pictures. There is a pull on the right exterior arm, and slight fraying to the corner on the left front. Interior lining shows some pulls and pilling, consistent with worker's wear. The zipper is in good shape but would benefit from some grease or your preferred lubricant (like graphite) to glide with ease the TALON-brand zipper pull.
