The plant offered for sale is a well-established division planted in AAAA NZ sphagnum moss shown in the last two images, 24"/60 cm tall overall, established in a 3.5"/8.5 cm rose pot. Plant should be moved up to a 5-6"/13-15 cm early next year. Dicranopygium wedelii is a medium sized cyclanth that occurs from lowland rainforest up into middle elevation clouds forest in southern Central America and western Colombia. This is a sturdy, handsome species usually encountered as a rheophyte or near streams. Easy to grow and somewhat temperature tolerant. fairly resistant to leaf brown-tipping which is common in some of the miniature cyclanth species if not kept perpetually moist. All plants offered are greenhouse grown on benches in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Shipping: Plants will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking number for physical addresses within three working days of receipt of payment, weather permitting. 72 hour heat packs are available for an additional nominal charge. Wherever possible, plants will be shipped in plastic pots. If bare-rooting is required for shipment to your state, please advise when auction is completed.
