Description: Devadip Carlos Santana – The Swing Of Delight 1980 Europe Jazz, Rock Original European Double LP Issued in 1980 by CBS (CBS – CBS 22075) Carlos Humberto Santana Barragán is an American guitarist, best known as a founding member of the rock band Santana. The Swing of Delight is his 1980 double album, released under his temporary Sanskrit name Devadip Carlos Santana, given to him by Sri Chinmoy (an Indian spiritual leader who taught meditation in the United States). The white fronted unlaminated printed card gatefold sleeve is graded as VG-. As with many white sleeves shows clear evidence of handling and storage. There is clear ring wear but the spine is clearly readable. The plain white paper inner sleeves have some age related discolouration and are graded as EX+. Both vinyls are without doubt NM. They have clearly not been played much - if at all. The CBS labels are unmarked - no visible spindle marks. On play grading there was nothing substantial which would spoil enjoyment of the records. They play superbly with very strong audio. The surfaces are very clean, glossy and shiny with no marks, superb examples that conservatively grade as NM.
