It is a little known, and hard to get to, area in Imperial County California. You don't see them very often in the desert and it is always a treat. They don't move too fast so they are easy to photograph. The image is from a photo I took myself. The painting is on a sturdy commercially made stretcher and is painted around the sides (gallery wrapped), so it does not need to be framed. The stretcher is a little more narrow than the ones I make myself, so framing it eventually might be a good idea. There are many layers of paint and the colors are fully saturated. It will arrive wired and ready to hang. About Me I've been a full-time artist for 30 years.
