Description: This Collector's Edition of "Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" by Edward Gibbon is a must-have for anyone that enjoys old history books. You will receive the first and second volumes and both are blue/burgundy hard cover and are not dated but have been around for many years. The first volume is in good condition but one of the pages is longer with a tear at the bottom and I have included a photo. The second volume looks like it was not used as much and is in very good condition. Both books do show their age and do have some discolored yellowing of the pages and both have the signed signature of the previous owner. The first book does have a few pages that have been underlined in red but I do not see any markings in the second book. All in all these books are in good condition. These books will take you on a journey through the fascinating history of Rome's decline and fall.
