Description: Davenport, IA 1922 photo pretty smiling woman ID Beulah LaFrentz Peacock Ingalls This brown folder measures about 9 x 6 inches when closed. There is a letter E embossed on the front. Photo measures 4 x 6 inches. The woman pictured tilts her head towards us and smiles knowingly. I just love her expression! She is wearing a coat with what looks like a lamb's wool collar. In lower part of image, below portrait is printed:"EckermanDavenport, IA" On portrait is inscribed:"Yours With LoveBeulah" On reverse is written in ink:"June 2, 1922239 Dixwell CourtDavenport, Ia.Beulah L. LaFrentz" I have researched Miss LaFrentz and see that she is the daughter, born in 1905, of Charles and Lillie LaFrentz, and step-daughter of Fred Tuck. Beulah married Claude Clinton Peacock in 1926, and then married Charles Jefferson Ingalls in 1932. She had two children, Leland Charles Ingalls and Gerald Hugh Ingalls. Beulah died in 1996 and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Groveland, Florida. Edge and corner wear to folder. Tears along folds of folder. My mother was a photographer who collected antique photos of all types for years. As I am settling her estate, I will be listing these photos as quickly as I am able.
