Presently, he is an Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Haldia Institute of Technology, India. His research is in the fields of artificial intelligence, data privacy, cybersecurity, network security, and machine learning. He serves as an editorial board member of many international journals. He has reviewed many conference papers, and has been a keynote speaker, session chair and technical program committee member for many international conferences.
