Description: This adorable little girl is a reproduction of an antique JDK googly and her head was painted by the well known doll artist Branka Scharli whose work is incredible. Very few doll artists reach this level of perfection when painting replicas of antique dolls. Her work is respected worldwide. She is making fewer dolls now and those that are made are quickly purchased. One of my hobbies is putting together dolls and giving them a personality. This little girl is 16" tall. Branka gave expressive life to her sweet face with ruddy cheeks and a sweet smile. The body was purchased from another doll artist named Linda Lee Sutton and is a chubby jointed toddler body. Her wig of curls is a human hair wig made by Bravot of France in the style Amanda and in the color called dark blond. As you can see by the photos her pate is styrofoam and will be lightly glued to the rim of her head with water soluble glue should the buyer wish to procure a different pate in the future. Her huge brown eyes are hand blown glass eyes. No wonder the saying says "the eyes are the window to the soul". Hers are beautiful. She wears an embroidered romper by Boneka.
