DAMAGED - Zoeller Submersible Sump Pump D98-C, 230V AC, 1 Phase, 1/2 HP

Description: BROKEN - DAMAGED - AS IS - FOR PARTS - New, never used. Clearly, this unit sustained a major hit or drop during storage. This caused all of the screws to BREAK holding the cover over the impeller to the housing. The screws sheared with the threads still in the body (we have not attempted to extract). Additionally, the float switch is slightly bent. More concerning, we are not sure if the switch might now be compromised to water ingress. Lastly, the jacket and insulation on the cord is TORN, with the copper conductor exposed. We did test the motor to be in good working condition; it ran smoothly and quietly. The float switch did turn it on and off. At a minimum, you will need to reattach the impeller cover and repair/replace the cord, but it may need a new float switch.
