The kit includes the transmitter unit with 25-feet rubber hose and the DCR-4000 receiver unit. It is a very reliable and easy-to-install driveway alarm to keep a track of vehicles entering your property and alerts you with an audio alarm whenever an unusual activity is detected.Transmission Range The transmitter unit comes with a 25-feet long rubber hose (3/8-inch diameter) that lies across the driveway. Whenever a vehicle drives over the hose, a signal is transmitted to the DCR-4000 receiver located at a distance of up to 1 mile (may vary depending on the environment). Once a signal is received, the receiver unit automatically triggers an alarm to alert you.Power Source The transmitter unit operates on four CR123a batteries (included), while the receiver is powered using a 12VDC transformer (included).
