There is water damage on the cover and first several pages, as shown in picture. My mother's name is written on the cover in ink, and there are penciled marks throughout, written by my mom's piano teacher. But all in all, the book is in great shape for its age--116 years old! My mother used this book when she was a piano student in the '40s and '50s. Before that, the book belonged to my grandmother. My mother then went on to teach piano for over 6 decades. She passed away this year.
