The knife's beautiful Damascus blade is the culmination of many hours of forging. Not many manufactures can keep such pattern of layers upon layers flowing all the way to the end of the blade, creating a saw-blade effect at microscopic level, allowing the blade to continue cutting while other blades have Dulled. This knife's blade was hand-forged using genuine layers of 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steel (512). Excellent heat treatment was applied to the blade, which has a Rockwell hardness of 54 along the edge and 42–45 along the spine. The blade, which is 4 mm thick, has beautiful hand grinds on both sides, with a false edge remaining on the top side. The blade of this knife is 4.0" long, and the overall length is an astounding 8.0". Excellent handle is a creative piece. It is constructed from robust epoxy for long-lasting sturdiness and camel bone and rose wood scales secured with brass pins. A real, fine-quality, custom-made calf hide is included with the knife. which precisely fits on the knife.
