The well-contoured grip has two scales of vibrant Rose wood which is brass-riveted to the thick blade tang. Included is a tough black leather sheath of Buffalo Refine leather with integrated belt loop. The Thai Daab sword was used as an improvised Tools against Chinese invaders more than 4000 years ago. They were developed into fighting swords and it was the most effective fighting Tools at that time. The exceptional balance allowed a high rotation speed and complex movement patterns. The grip end allowed blunt strikes as well, and the blade could be used for slashing or stabbing the opponent. The name Charn Chai originated out of Thailand and means “Good in Fighting”.
