Description: READ: From my personal collection, statue is in excellent condition without issues except the light up does not seem to work anymore - was working fine when placed in sealed cabinet but doesnt turn on anymore, maybe battery issue not sure. Light up is only button battery powered and not useful in display anyway. ****SOLD AS IS WITHOUT LIGHT UP, PRICE SIGNIFICANTLY DISCOUNTED**** Hello, This auction is for a Custom 1/4 Iron Man MK VII Battle Damaged Polystone Statue To reiterate, this is a full custom piece, it is NOT made by SS, Prime1 Studio, or XM Studio. One of my favorite MK armor and still the best Iron Man sculpt and pose (in flight) by far! The pose is so iconic with the perfect height (28 inches) in flight mode and minimal base footprint, you can display a shorter statue in front. But the mono clean paint app from the XM version leaves much to be desired, it makes the statue look like a plastic toy. So this custom piece was redone from the ground up, with some of the best custom weathering / battle damage and professional paint app on an iron man. Comes with 2 distinct switchout pose - standing and in flight mode. Bad battle damage paint app is easy, just smudge on some black/grey paint randomly and call it a day (just look at most SS iron man paint in hand). But great battle damage is extremely difficult and time consuming to paint, each armor's edge needs to be done so it looks like some paint was rubbed off exposing the metal, also realistic battle damage and scruff marks on the armor along with burn marks near his reactor. NOTE1: The head is cast as 1 piece with the body with no gap at all unlike the XM version where it's separate with an exposed connection line. NOTE2: The foot peg for this statue in flight mode is made slightly smaller than the hole in the base, so you can rotate the statue in any direction for posing without moving the base. There is no issue with stability, if you prefer the statue's foot peg to fit very tightly in the base hole, just wrap a small piece of tape on the peg before inserting into the base. NOTE3: Setup This piece may look complicated, but it is actually very easy to setup. The back has 6x pieces + 1 cover plate, the front has 2x pieces. Each piece attaches perfectly via strong magnet with no gaps, all fully tested by me. If the piece doesnt seem to fit perfectly, it means you have it in the wrong position (left vs right or upside down). ABOUT MY CUSTOM STATUES:1) All my custom statues are done by only 1 studio - made up of the best in the business - artists who do the factory prototypes for the highend collectible brands (not SS!). 2) All photos you see are taken by me of the actual IN HAND statues you will receive. I will NEVER use some stock photo for custom statues. Note: Even the worst statue will look good in low res photo or at a distance (a lot of sellers hide behind them for custom statues), but if you blow up the photos in high res at point blank distance like mine, magnifying every paint flaw, it will be obvious. My photos speak for themselves on the paint app quality and sculpt. 3) All custom statues will be securely packed in custom dense foam, secured with velcro straps, then in sturdy plain shipping box, to ensure safe shipping. 4) There maybe other sellers with similar statues even at much higher prices, with good looking stock photos or even using my photos, but they are NOT made by the same team or quality.
