Description: Pinewood Derby - speed bundle This is our families complete stash of Cub Scout Pinewood Derby build parts and go-fast tools. Using the specialized tools seem here, general shop tools, and Mark Rober’s YouTube video as a guide, we built 3 cars each of the three years. Our Cub Scout won one derby outright and finished second twice (one year it was so close, there had to be a 4 race runoff and he got runner up), with dad and sister taking trophies every year in the parents and siblings race, including a win and two seconds. Sorry, trophies are not included in this sale :) Unfortunately, COVID interrupted our 2020 and 2021 derbies, and he’s now aged out of Cub Scouts. What’s in the kit: 6 cut wedge pinewood derby car bodies - some axle drilled for rail riding already - unfinished 24 wheels (4 are BSA official, 2 others) 16 unpolished nail axles 4 full length stock axles 12 axles polished to >1000 / deburred bent nail axles for rail riding - these sets came off the winning cars from 2019. One is bent for rail riding. The other were used with 2.5 degree holes from the Pro Axle Hole Driller below.
