The fins blade is available in two different materials, the thermoplastic or carbon fiber. The thermoplastic rubber used for the water channeling rails is extremely flexible and soft so as not to undermine the intrinsic characteristics of the blade. The Cressi Gara Turbo Impulse High Performance Compact Fin Rails, has an extremely thin and light blade in compound made of elastomer techno polymers developed by Cressi. Stringer consisting of techno polymers with elastomeric loads with high flexural modulus. In the Carbon Fiber version the effect has been achieved using a finite element programmed that enables the performance offered by carbon fiber to be exploited to the fullest. The blade is all-carbon fiber. The fiber is imported from Japan. The shaped and processed sheet is then produced in a specialist plant in Turkey. The blade is subsequently finished with an industrial co-molding process at Cressi's Genoa plant. The elevated chemical bonding achieved between blade and rail, effectively creating a single piece, has permitted the elimination of the rigid glue that prevented the carbon fiber blade from flexing naturally. The thermoplastic rubber used for the water channeling rails is extremely flexible and soft so as not to undermine the intrinsic characteristics of the carbon fiber. The blade is therefore, less fragile and more protected by the rubber. The end result is a very light fin, with every square millimeter exploiting the flexibility of the carbon fiber to the fullest.
