Description: We are pleased to offer this nice Cowan Pottery "Denset" Tobacco Jar. The jar has the customary Cowan mark on the bottom and is signed #924. The body is a nice reddish-brown with a shiny glaze overlay. The body of the jar shows a Native American hunting and nature scene. The jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. It is extra nice condition. It is roughly 3 1/2 inches tall by about 3 1/2 inches wide. We believe Cowan started producing these in 1929, so nice old piece of Cowan pottery. Please see pictures for additional information and as always, please do not hesitate to ask questions.
