Description: The July 1, 1780 Connecticut issue was payable in Spanish milled silver dollars by March 1, 1785 with 5% interest. Upon redemption these notes were hole or slash canceled. The front has elaborate borders and a small state seal with a hand pointing to the left. Printed by Timothy Green II. The reverse features neat angels in the corners of the internal border. Exceptional example with crisp light paper and very bold ink, well deserving of the EPQ designation from PMG.
