Lee at right and each bill with a unique serial number! This neat-looking pretend piece, about the size of an older large-size U. S. bill (approximately 7 1/4" long x 3 1/4" high), is one of the creations of the Reed Banknote Co., Sarasota! This is a piece of banknote art and not an actual banknote and purports to be from the Confederacy. It is graphic artist R. J. Reed's creation of what a three dollar note could have looked like had one been prepared. This bill was printed only in a limited quantity of less than 200 pieces for this serially-numbered "second" issue.
