This has been refurbished in September 2024 All Compaq Portable III computers suffer from a rotten keyboard cable, this cable was replaced in August 2024 and both keyboard feet on the expanded keyboard (Up to F12 keys) are present. The Motherboard has had all capacitors replaced. Power supply has also been recapped (and has a 6 month warranty from the technician) New CMOS battery was installed. Hard drive and floppy drive tested and work. The Screen has one line of pixels in the middle of the screen that goes out and comes back on and of course a power cord. This unit works and will power up for you right out of the massively padded shipping box I send it to you in. Because of it's age it must be sold as is with all it's scuffs and scratches.
