When his craft sprang a leak And changed into a beak He said, 'Now I can't paddle, can 'oo?'"On the facing page, there is a picture of a bird perched on a paddle and his lower beak is a canoe. (See picture)The book has an orange cloth binding with a line drawing on the front cover of a bird repairing a car; black lettering on the spine; endpapers are a gold color; lovely illustrations in black and white.A fine addition for your scarce book collection!Condition: The book is showing some wear at the corner tips and spine ends; there is a crease in the front cover where the board was bent enough to crease the cloth and endpaper; a name has been blotted out with a black marker in the front; one page has a couple of smudges on the bottom (see picture); otherwise it is in good condition with a firm binding and generally clean pages.
