The plate size is 14 3/4" x 11 1/2", the sheet size is 17 1/2" x 14 1/2", taped to an ivory color linen mat 19 1/4" x 16".Signed in the plate lower left: "Leon Dolice 1928" and in pencil below the plate lower right: "Dolice". A very nice New York etching by Leon Louis Dolice; Am. 1892-1960. Born in Vienna, came to the U.S. 1920, encouraged by George Luks & Herb Roth to record street scenes of Manhattan at a time of much change ( esp. the 3rd Ave. El).
