Description: Large "LIFE"-sized magazine cover features a Red Cross nurse lighting a wounded soldier's cigarette. Wonderful piece of original WW2-era ephemera in fairly nice condition for age. Some thumb and spine wear; one modest snag in the bottom left of the cover (≤ 1" sq) but not on the significant area of the picture and with paper still intact (see photos: on soldier's shoulder). Pages appear intact, no cutting observed. Still-vibrant color on the cover. Great contents: war bonds, inflation in Germany, stretching rations, an artist painting from the front lines, Ginger Rogers on set in Hollywood, much more! From an odor-free environment. Feel free to ask questions; happy to help if we can. Thanks and have a great day~!
