Description: Offered for sale is a very clean red Coleman single mantle lantern model 200A with a manufacture date stamp of 2/75 (February 1975). This lantern is in excellent condition and has been disassembled, cleaned and leak tested after reassembly. The check valve was removed and cleaned, and the pump leather was oiled. The brass parts have been cleaned and hand polished. The lantern pumps up, holds pressure for days, and passes air through the generator when the valve is opened. The fount is very clean inside with the original factory coating. The original paint is in very good condition with just a couple tiny nicks and paint loss on the bottom rim. The original vent is in very nice condition with two small chips on each side above the bail. Please refer to all the photos for further description. The original decal has some age cracking as shown.The burner still has a nice plated finish with minimal heat marks. The generator has been cleaned and passes air as it should. The globe is a correct original with the words PYREX in an arch over MADE IN USA FOR over the Coleman logo. There are no chips, cracks, or burn marks in the glass.Overall, this is a very nice example of a red low vent 200A. A great addition to your collection or one that you can use for another 50+ years.
