The 6AL4V titanium handle, 4.8 inches closed, has a tactile sand blasted finish for secure grip, sturdy pivot with large pivot screw and pin, oversized bronze phosphor washers to eliminate sideways blade play, and the innovative Reeve Ceramic Ball End Integral Lock that uses a ceramic ball as an interface for the lock bar to the blade tang for consistent solid lock up. (The ball also drops into a detent on the blade to ensure the blade does not open accidentally.)
