The wide serving spoon has a small chip on the tip of the handle on the back side. All other pieces are in excellent condition. Please ignore any lighting challenges in the photos. This is a classic mid-century modern design. All pieces were made with high quality stainless steel paired with Brazilian Rosewood. In addition to the name Oslo, I have also heard this pattern referred to as Bounty. A rare variation of this design also exists with black composite handles, called Bergen. Most pieces are made of 18-8 stainless steel, which holds up very well with age. The knives were made with a slightly different composition of stainless steel, therefore, it is common for knife blades from this era to have some tiny black spots. The markings on the knives are so light that they are almost invisible in some cases. Each piece is hand-finished and shows very minor variations. There is also some variation in the manufacturer markings and the color of the wood on some pieces. If you are trying to match a specific marking or color of wood, I will do my best to accommodate.
