Along with the painted colours, there are touches of metallic gold throughout. The surface has a beautiful finish and displays images of Chinese women and men in traditional attire in courtyard scenes on two sides, integrated with beautiful flowers, fruits, and butterflies to create a continuous design around the pot. The rose medallion style displays beautifully and coordinates well with many types of décors. This is an absolute statement piece to contain your most cherished orchids, plants, or flowers. The planter has a drainage hole as well as the original matching saucer tray.Condition: Good condition for its age. Please examine all photos as part of description.There is some staining on the inside of the pot from prior use (See Note Below). The Chinese marks are stamped on the underside of the planter and saucer-tray. A quality piece of great skill and craftsmanship!**Please Note: There is some staining on the inside of the planter from prior use, as well as on the foot-rim on the underside of the planter and saucer-tray.
