The raised flat rim of the dish has repousse, while the middle of the dish features chased flowering prunus branches. The dish is in excellent vintage condition. It is signed "Luen-Wo" and the ideogram of the Chinese silversmith. Diameter: 158 mm Height: 25 mmWeight: 185 g Luen-Wo was a very important silver retailer based in Shanghai in the period 1875 - 1925. He worked with the best Chinese silversmith of the era and also traded in jewellery, diamonds and embroideries. His artworks are of very high quality and sought after by collectors.
