He is a member of the band Ringside, the producer-half of rap duo The Wow,[1] and a member of the Getty family. He was born to father John Paul Getty III and is a descendant of grandfather Sir John Paul Getty and great-grandfather was J. Paul Getty, founder of Getty Oil, and at one time one of the richest men in the world. His mother, Gisela (née Schmidt), is a German-born professional photographer and documentary filmmaker.[2] His parents divorced in 1993. He has a maternal half-sister, Anna (born 1972)[3], who his father adopted.[4] CareerGetty began his acting career at age 14 in 1989. He auditioned for the lead role in the movie Lord of the Flies after being spotted by a casting director, Robin Joy Allan, in his art class at school. During the 1990s and early 2000s, he appeared in the films Young Guns II, Natural Born Killers, Judge Dredd, Mr. Holland's Opus, White Squall, Lost Highway, Big City Blues, The Center of the World, Deuces Wild, Ladder 49, Feast, and the television miniseries Traffic. Getty guest-starred on the television series Charmed as Richard Montana, a male witch romantically linked with Paige Matthews. He appeared in the fifth season of the television show Alias as Agent Thomas Grace. He starred, alongside Alias costar Ron Rifkin, in the ABC prime time drama Brothers & Sisters, which first aired in September 2006. Getty played the role of Thomas "Tommy" Walker, third-born of the five Walker siblings. In late 2008, media reports indicated Getty's contract as a full-time series regular in Brothers & Sisters would not be renewed due, in part, to budgetary and storyline considerations.[5] In the Season 4 premiere, Getty was still listed in the principal cast, but he did not appear. Getty made his return to the series in the sixth episode of Season 4. Although he no longer appeared in every episode, he continued to make appearances on the show until its cancellation. Personal lifeIn 2000, Getty married fashion designer Rosetta Millington. They have three daughters: Grace, Violet, and June Catherine, and a son, Cassius Paul.[6][7] He had a highly publicized affair with English actress Sienna Miller, but later reconciled with his wife.[8] Social initiativesGetty is on the board of directors for The Lunchbox Fund, a non-profit organization providing daily meals to township school students in Soweto, South Africa.[9] FilmographyFilmYearFilmRoleNotes1990Lord of the FliesRalphYoung Artist Award Nominated for Best Young Actor Starring in a Motion PictureYoung Guns IITom O'FolliardAlternative title: Young Guns II: Blaze of Glory1991My Heroes Have Always Been CowboysJud, Jolie's SonThe Pope Must DieJoe Don DanteAlternative title: The Pope Must DietDecemberAllister Gibbs1992Halfway HouseWhere the Day Takes YouLittle J1993Red HotAlexiAlternative title: Fièvre Rouge1994Cityscrapes: Los AngelesLeaderDead BeatRudyAlternative title: The Phony PerfectorNatural Born KillersGas Station AttendantDon't Do ItJake1995ToughguyChad's FriendAlternative titles: Evil Never Sleeps and TerrifiedJudge DreddOlmeyerMr. Holland's OpusStadler1996White SquallTod Johnstone1997Lost HighwayPete DaytonHabitatAndreas Symes1998Fait AccompliA.J. (October 2015)Leon and Bobby are brothers and members of the Deuces, a Brooklyn street gang. Ever since the death of their other brother Alphonse "Allie Boy" from a drug overdose at the hands of Marco, they keep drugs off their block. This puts them in opposition to the Vipers, another local gang headed by Marco, who want to sell drugs in the neighborhood. On the eve of Marco's return from a three-year stint in prison, a gang war seems imminent. Marco plans revenge against Leon, whom he believes ratted him out to the police. Bobby falls for a new girl who moves in across the street, Annie, the younger sister of Jimmy "Pockets", a Vipers member and heroin dealer. Their attraction for each other complicates the gang rivalry. Marco attacks the block and Bobby before beating and raping Betsy (Leon's girlfriend) in order to push him over the edge. After a series of skirmishes between the Vipers and Deuces, neighborhood Mafioso Fritzy orders Leon and Marco to make amends hours before the climactic rumble (he previously declined Marco's request to kill Leon). Leon disobeys this order in a fight at the docks where Marco is killed along with Jimmy Pockets, leaving Bobby and Annie free to take her mother to Los Angeles. Leon is shot and killed by one of Fritzy's men in retaliation for ignoring his orders. Before leaving, Bobby drops a wheelbarrow full of cinder blocks on Fritzy's car, presumably killing him.
