Description: BEAUTIFUL RARE FAS 6004 TARGET SINGLE-STROKE PNEUMATIC COMPETITION TARGET PELLET PISTOL .177 CAL WITH ADJUSTABLE *RIGHT*-HANDED WALNUT GRIPS – in PERFECT cosmetic and operating condition and includes user manual, product schematics, original hard case, a data CD with FAS 6004 video reviews/pics/schematics/other useful info (how’s that for customer service?), and a packet of metal “shims” that can be used with the breech seal if desired for a tighter fit (instructions and diagrams included on data CD). Please note that this is the coveted Target grip version and not the FAS 6004 Standard [grip] version which increases the value along with the original case and manual (added 20% value). These are hard enough to find in this condition much less one that has been professionally resealed. THE STIPLING ON THE GRIPS SHOWS ZERO WEAR AND NO STAINS (please review pics carefully – you be the judge!) This pistol has just been resealed by my personal airgunsmith – backstory and full disclosure…recently during its routine “exercise” it would take several “warm up” pumps to get it to hold air, and then it was fine, but I didn’t like that and certainly didn’t want to pass that along to a future buyer – apparently there was found to be a bit of corrosion on an internal ball bearing and that was the lone culprit! HOWEVER, while it was apart it got a new reseal so it should be good to go for a LONG time! I am the second owner but only shot it to exercise it – probably less than 100 pellets through it. I am selling it as I have many other match pistols to shoot. It has an adjustable palm shelf (up and down), right-handed walnut target grips, adjustable two-stage trigger, adjustable rear sight for elevation/windage, adjustable front sight, and can be dry fired for practice. There is no recoil for SSPs. This pistol does NOT have an optics rail (the rail is not undercut). Made (extremely well made) in Italy by the famous Chiappa Firearms and is a consistently accurate shooter even with cheap Crosman .177 7.9gr wadcutter pellets - currently chronies at 325 fps with these pellets. Best pellets for this one are with my minimal testing are the RWS R10 Match 7.0gr wadcutters. This pistol is known to be NOT a powerful air pistol (in case you’re concerned about velocity) but provides consistent velocity for paper punching! This pistol is great for 10M shooting training and for the price is a good alternative to a $1000+ 10M pistol and shoots almost as well without all the fancy stuff. The weight is 2.1 lbs. and it is the traditional overlever single-stroke pneumatic. Like most pistols of this type there is no safety. Match-grade air pistols generally cost well over $1,000. The FAS 6004 is an exception for the price though it was discontinued some years ago. This .177 caliber single-stroke pneumatic air pistol truly delivers match accuracy at a far lower price.
