Description: Neck and body appear to be from 2 different guitars. NECK; Right handed reverse headstock maple on maple, face of headstock appears to have been resprayed & re- logo'd with the wrong logo. Conversion to a Floyd style locking nut, if not for the chip at the tip of the headstock & the extra screw holes from the original behind the nut locking system this neck is in amazing condition. Back of the neck is flawless, fretboard is slightly darkened due to age but perfectly clean, frets show no string wear, no divits or dents, may have had a recent level & crown. Actions about 2mm, no buzz anywhere. Truss rod works perfectly. Intonation on the money. BODY; Has a Fort Worth 6 digit neck plate. No luck running the serial #, believe it to be a late '80's model 3. Basswood, originally HSS routed for HSH although the routing job is somewhat questionable (see pic). Has finish stress cracks in the upper & lower neck joint (see pics) doesn't effect playability or structural integrity of the guitar. Bridge appears to be changed from a Jackson Lic. to a & real Floyd. Pickups are a pair of EMG89 dual mode humbuckers w/ an SA in the middle, both pots are "push-pull'. Electronics appear to be new, pots are smooth. Very solid guitar, great setup. Plays great, sounds great, stays in tune. Missing are the trem cavity cover, truss rod cover & the trem arm.
