They feature full burnished gold plate, custom engraving, and pearls on every key. The altos are not impossible to find, the sopranos, tenors, and baritones are exceedingly rare, and I had never even heard of a bass until I saw this one. This saxophone is incredible. Original gold plate is 90+ percent present. Gorgeous custom engraving of Psyche (the lover of Cupid in mythology) with butterfly wings, and full pearls all adorn this instrument. We've just put a full overhaul into this instrument and it is completely ready to play. This horn plays just like a vintage Conn bass should... in other words, GREAT! Big, dark sound.
