Description: Here is a CD 160 H. G. CO. baby signal glass insulator in aqua colored glass with the transition embossing. Transition embossing insulators were made just after the May 2, 1893 drip point patent when Hemingray added the patent date to a smooth based insulator mold and added drips to the base plate. This embossing was used for a relatively short time between 1893 and 1896 or so. Hemingray glass insulators were made in Muncie, IN from 1888 thru to when Owens-Illinois stopped making their insulators in 1966. Item is in pretty good shape as shown in the photos. Please check my other auctions for bottles, jars, insulators, oil lamps and Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG). I will combine shipping on multiple purchases.
