Description: This knife is one of CASE's 1989 Centennial Collection knifes, issued in a group of dedicated knives to celebrate the 100th anniversary of CASE. It is a mint, "Equal End Pen or Senator's" knife with round bolsters measuring 3 1/8" in length when closed. It has brass lined and pinned, flawless and beautiful "Sanbar Stag" handles, TruSharp Surgical Steel (stainless steel) mirror finished blades, shiny nickel silver bolsters and a special encircled "Centennial" oval style nickel silver shield. The front tang of the Master Spear Point blade is stamped CASE XX 1889 - 1989 dating it as a 1989 "Special Issue" knife and the front tang of the Pen Point blade is pattern stamped 5279 SS. Both blades are factory edge sharp and have excellent "walk and talk" snap. In addition, etched in black fancy script on the frontside of the Master Spear Point blade are the words CASE XX TESTED CENTENNIAL 1889 - 1989. With the exception a some very light handling marks on the blades and bolsters (see all photos), this knife is like new. Note: Inspect all photos and use the zoom feature for a closer look.
