Description: ABOUT THIS CARD: Issued out of Spain in the early 1940s, this is Enciclopedia Cultural de "CHICOS" Artistas de la Pantall Series 10-C, card #3 Cary Grant. Almost square, hand-cut card on light card stock measures approximately 1-13/16" X 2 inches. These cards were issued in blocks of four with other subjects from popular culture at that time--Film Stars such as this comprised Series 10 with 12 cards in each Series 10 subset lettered A through H. Thus this sale is for one card from the 96-card Series 10. Quite rare. You'll find a checklist of these on the Movie Card Website Misc C-K index under "Enciclopedia Cultrual de 'Chicos'." This sale is for the single card named in the title and pictured above. GRADING - CONDITION: Hand-cut card on light stock from a larger sheet, so I'm not taking the cut into account when grading--see scans to see exact cut of this card. Thus grades VG-EX or 4.5/10, front looks great, but a surface wrinkle visible on back and a small stain at bottom right corner visible on back.
